当您通过本站投稿或参与采访时，我们会收集：您的姓名、电邮、电话（可选）、以及您主动告诉我们的故事内容。如果接受采访，我们还会录制音频、视频，并整理文字稿；您可能会分享照片或其他档案资料。我们不会在没有告知的情况下收集任何其他个人信息。

When you submit the form or take part in an interview, we collect: your name, email, optional phone number, and whatever you choose to tell us. If you take part in an interview, we also record audio and video, prepare a written transcript, and you may share photos or archival material. We do not collect any other personal information without telling you.

We use this information only to contact you about the interview, and — only with your permission — to publish your story on history.ccakd.ca, in CCAKD's newsletter and social media, and at community and educational events. Nothing goes public until you've read the transcript and said yes.

We will never sell your personal information. We will never share your email, phone, or contact details with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. We will never use your story for commercial profit. CCAKD is a non-profit community organization, and this project is run by volunteers.

You retain the copyright in your own story. By taking part, you grant CCAKD a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to archive, edit, translate, and publish the recording for non-commercial community and educational purposes. You may write to us at any time to have your story removed from the public website; the original recording is kept in CCAKD's oral history archive and no longer made public.

If you'd like to correct something, revise the transcript, or take your story off the public site, please email history@ccakd.ca. We'll respond as quickly as we can — usually within two weeks.
